In Symmetry, Marco Grasso directs his investigation toward a relational dimension, constructing an image in which the dialogue between two presences becomes both a structural and symbolic principle. The two penguins, captured in an intimate and balanced proximity, emerge from a neutral and rarefied background that enhances their duality, asserting themselves as a form of dynamic equilibrium. The composition is grounded in a system of visual correspondences: the lines of the profiles, the inclinations of the beaks, and the distribution of masses construct a specular structure that, despite its similarity, preserves a subtle distinction between the two figures. This interplay of symmetry and deviation generates a silent tension, in which each element finds its counterpart.
