Carlos Ribeiro
Architect of Surreal Worlds
Carlos Ribeiro, born on June 9, 1986, in Porto Felgueiras, in northern Portugal, is an artist who moves between London and Lisbon, continuously shaping his unique vision of the world through the art of collage. After completing his studies, he moved to Andorra, where his love for nature and deep sensitivity toward his surroundings found expression in his passion for art.
Inspired by masters such as Salvador Dalí and Vincent van Gogh, Ribeiro uses collage to share his surreal and magical universe. Each piece is an intimate reflection of his inner world, a visual narrative weaving together past, present, and future. Through his collage technique, he constructs layered images, starting from instinctively chosen cutouts, allowing intuition and emotion to guide him. Each creation becomes an escape from reality and a window into a profound and personal exploration. His works are featured in prestigious private collections and stand out in Cristiano Ronaldo’s CR7 Hotels, where he has been chosen as the leading artist for their artistic decor.
For Ribeiro, collage is not merely an artistic medium but an emotional and spiritual journey. Every composition is a release from his inner struggles and a celebration of his passions. His works, infused with deep emotions and a unique poetic essence, transport viewers to distant worlds where reality merges with dreams and magic.
Carlos Ribeiro continues to captivate the contemporary art scene with his ability to transform fragments of imagery into evocative, meaningful, and strikingly beautiful works, further solidifying his collaborations with iconic figures such as Madonna.
