In Wrapped n.4, Daniele Accossato traps a fragment of a winged body inside a rigid shell, similar to an industrial packing case. The bare foot and feathers struggle to emerge through the block’s interlocking shapes, revealing a figure trying to expand within a space that restrains it.
The work plays on the paradox between protection and suffocation: what should be able to fly is instead confined in a structure made to contain it. In this way, Accossato transforms a mythical element into a fragile object, suspended between preservation and captivity
